Top Dogs – Ike and Gracie – Therapy Dogs
Ike and Gracie both had advanced arthritis with pain in both hips. When life became too painful, they each received hip replacements for both hips. One day they met at a nursing home when Gracie and her owner were testing Ike and his owner to become a therapy dog team. Now they are good friends and have similar “jobs” visiting at hospitals, nursing homes and rehabilitation centers with pain free hips and full mobility.
Ike and Gracie take a break for a photo opportunity.

Ike and Gracie’s owners wrote: “We both feel that were it not for your service and talent at your profession, our dogs would not be able to give the love they do to the nursing / rehabilitation patients which in turn creates some of the greatest smiles and happiness we see at every visit. For that we thank you along with all the residents and patients we see each week.”
