Foundation Education
The Global Veterinary Specialists Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt not-for-profit organization. This 501(c)3 abides by the scrutiny of the IRS over such things as Public Support Tests and Self-Dealing and the responsibilities are diligently fulfilled.
GVS welcomes donations and grants to fund education and clinical research projects. GVS believes in education, state-of-the-art instrumentation, prosthetic implants, and unmatched expertise to perform surgery whenever the proper indications exist, there are no complicating factors of higher priority, and patient quality of life can be improved for a life span. Surgery, and teaching other surgeons, will take place only where there is a commitment to provide and maintain a facility, equipment, and personnel all comparable to that required for surgery on humans.
GVS has a competitive edge working with surgeons that possess both clinical expertise and teaching skills. All surgeons are Board Certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons or have a PhD in Orthopedic Research.
